The Kupo 20″ Black Master C-Stand with Quick Release “Turtle Base” is a steel lighting support with 2 risers and 3 sections which extends to a height of maximum height 180cm. Century Stands or “C-Stands” are the most common type of grip equipment used by the filmmaking industry due to their strength and versatility. This C-stand is so versatile that it can be used on its own or in combination with the included grip head and grip arm. The Kupo 20″ Master C-stand Kit can be used to mount your lighting equipment and modifiers, from speed lights to large 2 meter light modifiers like soft boxes or beauty dishes. Whatever the light, whatever the location, the Kupo 20″ Master C-Stand is a great choice for now and into the future. This Kupo Master C-Stand kit is finished in flat black which lowers the chance of the stand casting reflections back onto your subject, saving you time in post-production.
This kit includes a 40″ Grip Arm with Big Handle Grip Head. The 2.5″ grip head is mounted on the end of a 40″ piece of steel tubing 5/8″ (16mm) in diameter. The surface of the tubing is machined to create a rough texture to ensure a non-slip surface. The grip head has a pair of rotating aluminum discs attached to a 5/8″ (16 mm) receiver. The discs have four different sized V-shaped jaws to accept any accessory with a 5/8″, 1/2″, 3/8″ or 1/4″ mounting stud or tubing. The V-shaped jaws have teeth that grab whatever is mounted between the plates securely. The grip head also features an ergonomic T-handle and dedicated roller bearings designed for maximum torque.
